Getting Married- The Wedding of Our Dreams & Best Michael Jackson Impersonator Surprise!
Hey everyone!
It’s been about 3 months since our wedding and I want to take some time out to share some of the special moments and memories from that day. If you are new here, I was just recently married to my husband in June 2021. We met years ago on the Michael Jackson AOL chat room as teenagers, later reconnected as adults and fell in love shortly thereafter. We had a short engagement of about 6 months before we tied the knot in Orange County, California.
We relocated from New York City in February and had our microwedding in June so, we had a short amount of time to get everything done. Some of the special touches we had were having a strawberry and coconut whipped cream vegan cake from Baked Vegan Sweets here in Long Beach, California. We also had a donut wall of freshly baked donuts and a fun photobooth for guests to enjoy.
One of the things I really wanted was to make sure that we had a touch of Michael Jackson as a part of our day, since his music is such a big part of our every day lives.Not to mention- a big part of why we came to know and love each other.
At first I was ok with just having some party black fedora hats and gloves on each table but my husband had other ideas! What was one of the biggest surprises of the wedding ended up being one of the most memorable parts of the day for everyone. My husband booked one of the best Michael Jackson tribute artists and impersonators for the wedding- One Glove Entertainment. He is beyond talented and performed a medley of songs tailor made to me and my favorites King Of Pop Tunes.
Being a bride was one of the sweetest moments of my life but I am even more grateful and happy to be a wife. I am looking forward to making so many memories together with my husband and building a life together with my favorite person.
