Cause this is THRILLER! My visit to the Thriller House in Los Angeles

Is the THRILLER HOUSE still standing? YES!

A couple of weeks ago my husband and I made the quick drive to Echo Park to visit the iconic home that was a part of Michael Jackson's Thriller video.

I had wanted to visit it for years and I had always heard rumors about it, but I was super excited to finally see it in person. Upon researching, it was easy to find the address of the Thriller house online. The Thriller house is located at 1345 Caroll Avenue Los Angeles, CA 90026

Here are 3 tips for visiting the THRILLER HOUSE:

1. Wear your Thriller garb! I feel like it makes photos that much more fun if you're actually in some Thriller gear. Throw on that spooky shirt, Thriller Jacket, or even a denim jacket like Ola Ray!

2. Don't linger! The home is currently occupied and when I was there taking photos on the steps, the resident came out. She politely asked me to stay on the public sidewalk. Since this is a private residence, it makes sense to stay on public property or... if you dare to climb the steps… make it quick! ;)

3. Visit at golden hour! The photos that I took were just before the sun began to set, making the lighting perfect for taking these pictures. I also think that it's nicer to see the house in decent lighting, even if you THINK you'd like to see the house at night, without light the details will be lost.
